Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has announced a solo North American tour.

Steven Tyler Out On A Limb 2016 North American Tour

With Aerosmith, Tyler has sold over 66 million albums in the US, also releasing eight US top ten singles, including number one hit “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”.

He’s now announced he’s going on a solo tour of the US and Canada this summer, with a schedule of nineteen dates announced so far.

The tour is set to begin on 2nd July at The Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada, continuing through to 13th September when it concludes at the Sony Centre of the Performing Arts in Toronto, Ontario.

Talking to USA Today about what to expect from his upcoming tour, the former ‘American Idol’ judge said: “What would I not pay to go see Paul McCartney, but instead of playing with whoever he’s with now, actually do a show where he tells you what he was thinking when he wrote ‘Yesterday’?

“That’s what I’m doing. I figured I’d talk about ‘Sweet Emotion’ and ‘Dream On’ and where I was when I wrote it, and ‘Seasons of Wither’ and how I played it.”
