Counting Crows have announced a tour with Rob Thomas.

Counting Crows and Rob Thomas 2016 tour

In celebration of their latest respective releases, Counting Crows’ 2014 “Something Under Wonderland”, and Rob Thomas’ 2015 “The Great Unknown”, they will be embarking on an extensive North American tour together later this year.

The shows will kick off on July 22nd in West Palm Beach, Florida. Throughout the tour, they will perform in venues around New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Ontario, California and many more US and Canadian states, before bringing their jaunt to an end on September 30th in Nashville, Tennessee.

Talking of the upcoming tour, Counting Crows’ Adam Duritz said in a statement: “Twenty years ago Rob and I were like kids running around Italy in the middle of the night getting drunk and playing gigs. I still love nothing more than touring with my friends. This is going to be a great summer.”

Revealing his excitement for the shows too, Rob Thomas added: “Music is about good friends getting together and celebrating life. Our fans are going to be doing that in the audience and we will be doing that on stage as well. Bring on the summer!”

Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
