Janet Jackson has postponed her ‘Unbreakable’ world tour.
The singer announced the news yesterday, explaining that she is in the process of planning a family with her husband, and so is under strict orders from her doctors to rest.
Delivering the news to her fans, she posted a video on her Facebook page, in which she said: “We are in the second leg of the tour and there’s been a sudden change and I thought it was important you be the first to know.”
“My husband and I are planning a family so I’m going to have to delay the tour.” She added: “Please, if you can, try and understand it’s important that I do this now, I have to rest up, doctors orders, but I have not forgotten about you, I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
The next leg of the tour was due to kick off on May 14th in Las Vegas, and continue throughout various US states, until August 28th where her final show was set to take place in Cleveland, Ohio.
It is not yet known how long the tour will be delayed for.
