Kasabian have announced new UK tour dates for this month.
The band are playing two homecoming gigs at Leicester’s King Power Stadium, following Leicester City’s surprise victory in the Premier League this week.
They’d previously announced a show at the stadium for Saturday 28th May, but due to huge demand have added a second date for the following night.
The group is made up of Tom Meighan, Sergio Pizzorno, Ian Matthews and Chris Edwards, who released fifth album “48:13” back in 2014, their fourth UK number one.
Talking about the Leicester shows, Sergio said: “This has been an unbelievable year for the city and it seemed like the perfect thing to do this summer. We cannot wait to throw the city the greatest party they have ever seen.”
As well as the Leicester homecoming shows, they’ve also announced two intimate warm up shows to take place before, with the band visiting both Bridlington and Swindon.
Tickets for the Leicester gigs have been on sale for a week, while the warm up shows went on sale this morning (6th May) at 9.30am.
