The lineup for Parklife 2016 has been announced.
The Festival will return to Manchester’s Heaton Park this summer, for their fourth consecutive year. The festival usually expects to draw in a crowd of around 140,000 over the weekend, and has been headlined by the likes of Disclosure, Rudimental, Dizzee Rascal and Snoop Dogg in past years.
Today, it was announced that electronic music band The Chemical Brothers, who topped the UK Albums Chart last year with their eighth album “Born in the Echoes” will be one of the festival headliners.
Also headlining Parklife 2016 is “Lean On” hit-makers Major Lazer who shot to fame in 2015, and are expected to release their fourth album “Music is the Weapon” later this year.
A huge number of other big names have also been confirmed to play over the course of the weekend, including Jamie XX, Jess Glynne, Years & Years, Craig David, Lethal Bizzle and Skepta.
Many more major acts including Bastille, Annie Mac, DJ Ez, Katy B, Hannah Wants and Armand Van Helden will also hit the Parklife stage this year.
