Rod Stewart has announced a big UK tour for 2016.
The singer will perform to over 180,000 people in June next year, with eight dates confirmed at big outdoor venues.
He’s currently preparing to release his new 29th album “Another Country”, featuring singles “Love Is” and “Please”.
He’ll take his new music on tour next year, but as well as performing his latest tracks, he’ll also play some of his biggest songs from over the decades, with the tour aptly named “Hits 2016”.
The tour kicks off at the Carrow Road stadium in Norwich on 4th June, and continues until 21st June at Brunton Park in Carlisle. As well as those dates, he’ll also make stops in Plymouth, Southampton, Cardiff and Hull, as well as two shows in his home country Scotland – Kilmarnock and Inverness.
The news was confirmed on Rod’s Facebook page, with a post reading: “Rod Stewart is BACK in the UK, JUNE 2016! One of his biggest UK tours yet will see him perform to over 180,000 people, across 8 outdoor venues, visiting Plymouth, Southampton, Cardiff, Norwich, Hull, Carlisle, Kilmarnock and Inverness.”
Meanwhile, Rod himself tweeted: “Looking forward to spending next summer singing under the stars in the UK! Won’t you join me?”
