Steve Vai has announced a 2016 tour.

Steve Vai - Passion And Warfare 25th Anniversary Tour 2016

In celebration of the 25 years since the release of his 1990 album “Passion and Warfare”, Steve Vai will embark on an extensive tour of the UK and Europe later this year.

He will kick off the run of shows with a performance at Canada’s World Guitar Festival on May 28th, before embarking on his string of UK and Europe tour dates, then followed by a performance in the US on July 30th.

The first show will take place on June 1st in Glasgow, followed by other UK shows in London, Newcastle, Manchester, Brighton and Bristol.

The singer will head out on his European shows on June 9th, with his first appearance taking place in Helsinki, Finland. With a mix of headline shows and festival performances, he will play shows in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Germany and many more European countries throughout the summer months.

“Performing this record from top to bottom (with some very special surprises in the works) is something I’ve always dreamed of doing,” Steve Vai said of the tour: “There are songs here I’ve never performed before, and I’m delighted that 25 years after its release, I feel as though my guitar chops are as much up to the task as ever before.”
