Tom Odell has announced a 2016 tour.
The tour comes in celebration of his latest album “Wrong Crowd”. The upcoming album is due to be released on 10th June, and features his most recent same-titled single.
Talking of the album, Tom Odell said: “I wanted the songs to sound big and dramatic; big strings and melodies emphasising the songs further – rich in musicality and holding nothing back.”
He added that the album is: “a fictional story but the emotions and feelings are obviously ones I have felt – though the stories are elaborated and exaggerated. I wanted to create a world with a heightened sense of reality.”
The singer teased the album on social media earlier this week, along with the announcement of a 2016 tour.
The intimate tour dates will see Tom Odell play a string of intimate shows in the UK, Europe and US.
London will be the first stop on his tour, with a show at Islington Assembly Hall on 20th April. This will be followed by shows in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich and Milan as the European leg of the tour.
Tom Odell will play two shows in the US on 4th & 6th May, in New York and Los Angeles.
Tickets will be released via a “ticket lottery”, which you can enter here. Entrants who were successful in the lottery will be notified this Friday (8th April).
