Walk The Moon have confirmed details of a 2016 Australian tour.
Walk The Moon are currently touring with their latest album “Talking Is Hard”, which spawned their massive 2014 hit “Shut Up and Dance”. The single peaked at number 4 on both the UK and US singles charts, and reached number 3 in Australia.
The band have not quite come to the end of their 2015 tour yet, as they’re due to play two sold out shows in Melbourne and Sydney this week. However, the American indie rock band have announced that they’ll be heading back to Australia next year, to play even more shows.
On 21st January next year, the band will kick off their second run of Australian shows, first playing in Perth. The band will also head to venues in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane throughout the month, before bringing things to an end in Sydney on 31st January.
It is not yet known if Walk The Moon will have released new material before their 2016 tour, but Nicholas Petricca recently told CBS news: “As soon as we are done with one thing, we’re on our way to the next thing. So we’ve been realizing how important it is to stop and smell the roses and appreciate all the amazing things that are happening.”
Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
